PLATEXLYMPH, a collaborative platform for exploring cell models of patients with lymphoid hemopathies

The NOLymIT team led by Camille Laurent has just been awarded a grant from the Institut Carnot CALYM, under the « dispositif Carnot », managed by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR) for the development of the PLATEXLYMPH program (Collaborative platform for exploration of cell models of patients with lymphoid hemopathies).

This program brings together 4 ADREP-CALYM member teams that are experts in the development of pre-clinical models (Patient Derived Models) of lymphoid hemopathies from primary cells of patients. Under the leadership of Dr. Bezombes, the NoLymit team has developed a 3D culture expertise with multiparametric analyses applied to lymphomas.

Currently, no platform allows pharmas to screen innovative therapies (immunotherapies, CAR-T, bispecific) on PDMs (2D or 3D ex vivo models with or without microenvironment; in vivo PDX models on mice and chicken embryos) for Lymphoma (DLBCL, FL, MCL, AITL), MM and LLC with results associated with clinical data.

The Platexlymph project therefore aims to fill this gap by relying on the CALYM network to offer a standardised characterisation of these models and make available data collected by different centres.

5 WP will be developed :

  • WP1 : Management, professionalization and development (L Herviou, CALYM).
  • WP2 : Proof of Concept Screening on existing PDMs (C Bezombes, CRCT ; C Pangault, CHU Rennes ; M Caillot, CHB, Rouen).
  • WP3 : Structuring a group of experts in preclinical models (C Bezombes, CRCT ; C Pangault, CHU Rennes ; M Caillot, CHB, Rouen).
  • WP4 : Optimization of 2D/3D models of MCL, LLC et MM (D Chiron, CRCI2NA, Nantes).
