L’équipe fait partie du consortium « ATTACK Cancer  » financé par un ERC Synergy Grant, visant à mettre au point des traitements anticancéreux plus efficaces et plus ciblés.

Le laboratoire d’Excellence Toulouse Cancer est un projet qui vise à comprendre les mécanismes de résistance et de rechute dans les cancers.

Les spécificités
de notre axe de recherche

Les réponses immunitaires sont basées sur des interactions multiples et dynamiques entre les cellules du système immunitaire conduisant à la formation de zones de signalisation spécialisées, les synapses immunologiques.

Notre équipe applique une combinaison d’approches de pointe, incluant l’imagerie des cellules vivantes rapide et la microscopie de super-résolution (sur des cellules isolées et des tranches de tissus humains) mais également la modélisation mathématique, de manière à visualiser et interpréter les dynamiques moléculaires se produisant au niveau des synapses immunologiques. Décrypter la communication intercellulaire au niveau des synapses immunologiques peut contribuer à concevoir des stratégies thérapeutiques innovantes visant à moduler les réponses immunitaires dans différents contextes pathologiques.
