The SigDyn team receives Obtention two major grants

The SigDYN team has obtained two major grants to study :

  1. Functional exploration of early pre metastatic niche in the liver for various cancers
  2. PI3K deregulation & Early detection and treatment of pancreatic cancer

The team has been awarded INCA-PLBIO funding, coordinated by Dr Julie Guillermet-Guibert with Dr Manuel Rodriguez (LCC-CNRS, also a guest researcher in the team). Our working hypothesis is that, in pancreatic cancer, the activation of PI3Ks, key enzymes in cell signaling and vesicular trafficking, could be a selective marker of the progression of this cancer; this knowledge will be used to develop early diagnosis or treatment strategies.

The second grant, an ITMO CANCER funding in partnership with IGF, Montpellier and BRIC  (Bordeaux) aims to study the premetastatic niche in gastrointestinal cancers including in pancreatic cancer.
