The Fonroga Foundation supports initiatives and achievements in the fields of culture and health in the Toulouse region.

On December 10, 2021, it awarded several prizes and grants to CRCT researchers:

Young researcher award :

Laura Poillet-Perrez (2nd price) Postdoctoral researcher in the team “Metabolism and therapeutic resistance in acute myeloid leukemia” led by Jean-Emmanuel Sarry Project: Define the involvement of autophagy (leukemic and host) in tumor growth and resistance to targeted chemotherapy

Nicolas Berry (2nd price) Postdoctoral researcher in the team “Therapeutic innovation in pancreatic cancer” directed by Pierre Cordelier Project: To develop methods and tools based on intracellular antibody technology to understand the molecular mechanisms leading to cancer development and resistance to therapies.

Fanny Lafouresse (2nd price) Scientific leader of the research axis “function and regulation of CD8 T cells in cancer in the team led by Salvatore Valitutti Project: Understanding the role of tissue-resident CD8 T cells (TRM) in breast and lung cancers
