DNA microchips

The platform has a high-performance chip scanner, the Illumina iScan (www.illumina.com).

This scanner has two types of application:

      • the epigenetic study of the cytosine methylation profile in humans with the Infinium Methylation EPIC chip (Illumina) which interrogates more than 850,000 methylation sites. 500ng of gDNA is required to initiate bisulfite conversion.
      • High-throughput genotyping of SNPs (Single Nucleotide Polymorphism) by DNA chip for GWAS (Genome-Wide Association Study). Illumina offers a very varied catalogue of chips, more or less complex, for several species (human, murine, bovine, porcine, etc.).

Access to these technologies is by project service and specific quote.
