LABEX TOUCAN
Toulouse Cancer Laboratory of Excellence
The Toulouse Cancer Laboratory of Excellence is a project that aims to understand the mechanisms of resistance and relapse in blood cancers and
by extension in certain solid cancers.

Bioinformatics Unit
IUCT – CRCT
The bioinformatics platform of the Toulouse University Cancer Institute (IUCT) and the Toulouse Cancer Research Centre (CRCT) is made up of 12 bioinformaticians, statisticians and computer engineers with multidisciplinary expertise to handle the data generated by the various sequencing, cellular and tissue imaging platforms for research units (CRCT) and the hospital (IUCT) in routine practice. This work is based on a very high-speed computing cluster, GPUs and the development of innovative computing solutions.
THE LABEX
To find biomarkers of resistance in haematopoietic cancers and potential therapeutic targets to circumvent this resistance.
CHALLENGE
RESEARCH
AXIS
Deciphering drug resistance in anaplastic large cell lymphomas expressing the oncogenic tyrosine kinase ALK.
Mapping γδT cells and vasculature in lymphoma: a single-cell study for the localization and functional characterization of cytolytic T cells infiltrating human lymphomas.
Immunometabolic landscape of myeloma associated with the efficacy of anti-CD38 mAbs.
Mitochondrial metabolism supports inhibitor resistance of IDH mutants in acute myeloid leukemia.
ALK-transformed mature T cells restore the characteristics of early thymus progenitors.
